Frequently asked questions
Billing
What is your refund policy?
No refunds. Use the 15-day free trial, with every feature and no card needed, to decide. You can cancel a yearly licence at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid year. Billing errors, such as a double charge, are always refunded. See our Refund Policy.
How do I pay?
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Depending on your country, Paddle accepts major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and wire transfers. Yearly plans renew automatically, and we email you a reminder before each renewal.
What happens when my trial ends?
The app stops working until you buy a licence. Your data stays on your device.
What's the difference between yearly and lifetime?
Same features. Yearly is $60 a year plus taxes and renews until you cancel. Lifetime is $2,000, paid once, and your bug reports and feature requests go to the front of the queue.
What does "lifetime" mean?
The life of the product, not the life of the buyer. A lifetime licence covers thoga and its updates for as long as we make thoga. If we ever discontinue thoga, every paying user, yearly or lifetime, gets a final version that works without sign-in or licence checks, forever.
Can I use it for work?
Yes. Teams and companies plans are coming later.
Security and privacy
Where is my data stored?
On your device, in a database encrypted with AES-256 (SQLCipher). The key is kept in your operating system's keychain.
Do you have access to my data?
No. We have no access to your flows, files or data. thoga is local-first: your data does not go through our servers.
How are my API keys and credentials secured?
They are kept in the credential vault. Each credential is encrypted on its own (AES-256-GCM), then stored inside the already-encrypted database.
Is P2P sync encrypted?
Yes. Peer-to-peer connections use iroh and are encrypted end to end. thoga accepts connections only from peers you have added. If a direct connection is not possible, the encrypted traffic may pass through iroh's public relay servers. It never passes through ours.

What platforms are supported?
macOS, Windows and Linux at launch. iOS and Android later.
Does thoga work offline?
Yes. The app and your flows run locally. Components that connect to external services (Google Sheets, the Claude API and so on) need the internet.
How do I back up or move flows to another device?
Use P2P sync to transfer flows between your devices. Set up thoga on the new device and sync the flows you need.
